Privacy

Pickoryx has no accounts, no sign-up and no newsletter. There is nothing to log in to, so there is no profile to build.

What we store

• Page views.The path you visited, the referring site’s domain (not the full URL), and roughly how long the page stayed open.
• Outbound clicks. When you follow a link to Amazon.com, we record which product it was. This is the only signal we have about whether a page was useful — Amazon.com’s own reports arrive days later and do not say which product.
• An anonymous visitor id. A random value in a first-party cookie (px_vid) so repeat visits from the same browser can be counted once. It is not tied to a name, an email or an account, and we never send it anywhere else.
• Anything you type into the report form — the message, and an email address only if you choose to give one.

What we do not do

• No third-party analytics, no advertising pixels, no social trackers.
• No cross-site tracking, no data brokers, no selling or sharing of any of it.
• No fingerprinting to get around a browser’s privacy settings.

Your controls

• We honour Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control. With either signal on, this site records nothing about your visit.
• Blocking or clearing cookies works too — the site is fully usable without them, and the theme toggle is the only other thing that stores anything locally.

Retention

Page-view records are deleted after about six months. Outbound-click records are kept longer because they are how we tell which pages earn their place.
