EGO LM2114 vs Greenworks MO48B01: Choose by Clipping Setup and Battery Kit

Choose by the clipping option you need and the battery platform you want to keep using. EGO lists a 21-inch three-mode deck with side discharge; Greenworks lists a 17-inch mulch-and-bag setup. Their included battery kits also differ, so match the kit to tools you already own.

The buying question

Which mower better matches the way you want to handle clippings and the battery system you own?

The EGO configuration offers a wider listed deck and side-discharge mode; the Greenworks configuration has a narrower listed deck and a two-battery 24V setup. These are configuration and kit choices, not evidence of faster mowing or better cut quality.

Quick verdict

Choose EGO POWER+ LM2114 21-inch push mower if

  • You want the manufacturer-listed side-discharge option alongside mulching and bagging.
  • You use or plan to use EGO 56V ARC batteries and prefer the LM2114 kit with one 6.0Ah battery and a 320W charger.

  • Your existing battery inventory or the exact current included kit differs from the manufacturer-listed configuration.

Value and trade-offs

One or both observed offers have eligibility conditions, so no unrestricted price difference is shown.

Compare current offers for the exact mower kits. A higher offer is only useful if its listed clipping setup or battery kit fits your needs.

Limitations

  • No comparable test here establishes mowing time, runtime under the same conditions, cut quality, maneuverability, or long-term durability.
  • Deck width is not the full mower width or folded storage size. Measure the actual route and storage space before treating the deck measurement as a fit guarantee.
  • Greenworks US product information uses several labels: MO48B01, MO48B2210, and LM1712. Check the model and battery kit on the offer before ordering.
  • Cut-height count/range is not used in the recommendation because the available listing and manufacturer presentation do not agree.
