Logitech Brio 105 vs Anker PowerConf C200: Which Desk Setup Fits?

Choose Brio 105 for a fixed-view desk setup with its cable permanently attached. Choose PowerConf C200 if you want autofocus, software-selected framing or a detachable camera cable. C200 also documents a separate tripod option, but these features do not establish better video quality.

The buying question

Is one fixed camera view with an attached cable enough, or do you need selectable framing and a detachable camera connection?

Brio 105 uses fixed focus and an attached USB-A cable. C200 adds autofocus, software-selected framing and a detachable cable, with a documented tripod option.

Quick verdict

Choose Anker PowerConf C200 (A3369) if

  • You want to choose the framing in AnkerWork on a supported computer.
  • You want a detachable camera-end cable or a documented tripod thread.
When to skip: Skip Brio 105 if autofocus is a requirement. Skip buying C200 for its software framing controls until you know you can use AnkerWork on your computer.
When the recommendation changes
  • If your employer blocks configuration software, confirm how you will obtain the framing you want before choosing C200 for that feature.
  • If the camera needs to sit away from the screen, C200’s documented tripod thread may matter more than its resolution label.
  • If your computer has only USB-C ports, neither documented supplied cable plugs directly into that port. Check an appropriate data connection for the exact setup.

The differences that matter

Framing And Focus Controls

Logitech Brio 105 (Graphite, 960-001579)

Uses fixed focus and a fixed camera view; Logitech lists no camera zoom. Logi Tune can adjust color and brightness.[1]

Anker PowerConf C200 (A3369)

Provides autofocus and three viewing-angle choices through AnkerWork software.[2, 3]

What this changes: Brio 105 fits a setup where one camera view is sufficient. Choose C200 if you want to change the framing in its software or use autofocus as your distance changes; that does not promise faster or more reliable focusing.[1, 2, 3]

The better fit depends on your priorities

Camera Cable And Placement

Logitech Brio 105 (Graphite, 960-001579)

The North American 960-001579 datasheet specifies an attached 1.5 m USB-A cable, also corroborated by the current specifications. A separate Logitech setup article instead says USB-C.[1, 4, 5]

Anker PowerConf C200 (A3369)

The supplied cable plugs into USB-C on the camera and USB-A on the computer; it detaches at the camera end.[3]

What this changes: Brio keeps the cable attached when you move or pack the camera. C200 lets you disconnect the camera without carrying its cable. Both documented packages use USB-A at the computer; C200’s camera-side USB-C port does not make its supplied cable USB-C at both ends.[1, 4, 5, 3]

The better fit depends on your priorities

Camera Cable And Placement

Logitech Brio 105 (Graphite, 960-001579)

Includes an attached clip for a monitor, display or laptop.[1]

Anker PowerConf C200 (A3369)

Includes an adjustable monitor clip/stand and a quarter-inch thread for a separately purchased tripod.[3]

What this changes: Both suit monitor mounting. C200 offers a documented tripod setup if you want the camera placed independently of the screen; no claim is made that every alternative mount is impossible on Brio.[1, 3]

The better fit depends on your priorities

Best for your routine

A consistent seated setup with camera and cable kept together

Best fit: Logitech Brio 105 (Graphite, 960-001579)

Based on listed features, not comparative testing.

Brio 105’s fixed focus and attached cable match that routine when its camera view suits the seat.

Changing how much of the room appears in the frame

Best fit: Anker PowerConf C200 (A3369)

Based on listed features, not comparative testing.

C200 offers three framing choices through AnkerWork. Confirm app access on the actual computer rather than assuming settings carry between machines.

Disconnecting the camera while leaving the desk cable in place

Best fit: Anker PowerConf C200 (A3369)

Based on listed features, not comparative testing.

C200’s camera-side USB-C connection is detachable. That matches a movable camera setup without establishing support for every replacement cable or hub.

Value and trade-offs

One or both observed offers have eligibility conditions, so no unrestricted price difference is shown.

Any extra cost is easier to justify when you will use C200’s framing controls, autofocus or detachable connection. For a fixed seat, those features may add little to the setup you need.

There is not enough price history here to assess purchase timing.

Limitations

  • Neither camera was tested hands-on. No winner is established for low-light performance, focus speed, image or microphone quality, reliability or compatibility with a particular hub.
  • Logitech’s North American datasheet and current Brio 105 specifications say attached USB-A; a separate setup article says USB-C. This comparison follows the exact North American 960-001579 datasheet. Confirm that part number and connector before purchase.
  • Anker’s older manual includes legacy operating systems and applications. Use current configuration-software requirements and your meeting app’s requirements when checking compatibility.
  • Logitech labels its viewing angle as diagonal; the cited Anker material does not specify the same measurement basis. No numerical width ranking is made. Software-selected framing is not a promise of automatic subject tracking.

Questions shoppers ask

Does C200’s USB-C port mean the supplied cable is USB-C at the computer?

No. The manual shows USB-C at the camera and USB-A at the computer. The Brio 105 North American datasheet also specifies USB-A at the computer. Check the actual ports and supported data connection before ordering.

Does Brio 105 have no image adjustments at all?

It has optional color and brightness controls in Logi Tune, even though its focus is fixed and Logitech lists no camera zoom. C200’s selectable framing is configured through AnkerWork. Those manufacturer controls are separate from any cropping tools offered by your call software.

Will C200 always send a 2K picture in a meeting?

Its manual lists 2K capture at 30 frames per second, while Brio 105 lists 1080p at 30 frames per second. These are camera modes, not a promise that a particular meeting service transmits the maximum resolution.

Methodology and sources

Compared focus and framing controls separately from the supplied cable and mounting arrangement, while checking the computer software needed for adjustments.
