Brio 505 vs PowerConf C200: Which Fits Your Presentation Setup?

Choose Brio 505 if its moving-presenter or desk-display tools matter and your computer supports them. Choose C200 for manually selected framing and its removable-cable setup, after checking the host plug and selected package. Its 2K label alone does not establish better-looking calls.

The buying question

Do you need Brio’s software-assisted presenter tools, or will manually selected framing fit your calls, and which cable setup matches your computer?

Brio’s presenter features depend on supported software and hardware; C200 offers manual view selection and a removable camera cable.

Quick verdict

When the recommendation changes
  • Your computer cannot run the required software or uses an excluded processor for RightSight.
  • The selected package or your available host port requires a different cable or adapter.

The differences that matter

Presenter And Framing Workflow

Logitech Brio 505 (Graphite, TAA)

RightSight automatically reframes a moving presenter; Show Mode supports downward desk presentation. Both require Logi Tune. The datasheet excludes RightSight on ARM computers; Tune is unavailable on ChromeOS.[1, 2, 3]

Anker PowerConf C200 (Black)

AnkerWork lets you manually select 65°, 78° or 95° framing. C200 has autofocus and offers 2K capture; those are separate from automatic presenter framing.[4, 5]

What this changes: Choose Brio 505 for its named presenter tools on a supported computer. C200 fits a seated setup where you choose the composition yourself. Both offer adjustable views and autofocus; this is not a fixed-view-versus-adjustable comparison.[1, 2, 4, 5]

The better fit depends on your priorities

Physical Host Connection

Logitech Brio 505 (Graphite, TAA)

Attached USB-C cable. USB-A connection requires a third-party adapter, not included.[1]

Anker PowerConf C200 (Black)

Removable cable connects to the camera’s USB-C socket. The C200 manual specifies USB-A at the computer end of its provided cable; confirm the selected US seller’s box contents.[5, 6]

What this changes: Match the computer-side plug, not just the camera’s socket. Brio suits a free USB-C host port directly; C200’s documented cable setup suits USB-A. For a different port, verify a suitable data cable or adapter before ordering. A detachable cable is a setup choice, not evidence of longer life.[1, 5]

Best for your routine

Moving or desk-object presentations on a computer that supports the required Brio features

Best fit: Logitech Brio 505 (Graphite, TAA)

Based on listed features, not comparative testing.

RightSight and Show Mode are a direct fit. Check the processor and software first, and account for an adapter if your host only has USB-A.

A seated USB-A desk setup where you choose the view yourself

Best fit: Anker PowerConf C200 (Black)

Based on listed features, not comparative testing.

C200 combines selectable composition with the manual’s USB-A host cable setup. Verify the selected package and AnkerWork access; manual selection does not promise to follow your movement.

Value and trade-offs

One or both observed offers have eligibility conditions, so no unrestricted price difference is shown.

Compare total setup cost, including a needed cable or adapter. Pay extra only for presenter functions you can use or a connection arrangement you prefer.

There is insufficient price history here to advise buying now or waiting.

Limitations

  • Neither webcam was hands-on tested. Image quality, autofocus speed, microphone performance and reliability are not ranked.
  • C200’s manufacturer manual establishes the model’s cable setup, not a guarantee of every US seller’s package. Its black A3369011 part is corroborated by Anker Japan; regional warranty and offer terms are not transferred.
  • No claim is made that C200 cannot use third-party framing tools, or that either camera preserves software settings across computers.

Questions shoppers ask

Do the Brio restrictions mean it cannot work as a webcam on ARM or ChromeOS?

No such blanket conclusion follows. The datasheet’s ARM exclusion concerns RightSight Auto Framing. ChromeOS lacks Logi Tune. Logitech separately says Tune is not natively supported on ARM-based Windows devices. Check the specific feature you intend to use rather than treating basic video and software controls as the same requirement.

Does C200’s camera-side USB-C socket guarantee a USB-C host plug?

No. Its manual’s provided cable connects to USB-A at the computer. Check the selected seller’s package and, if necessary, a compatible data cable or adapter for your host.
